There are two individuals that deserve most of the credit for developing these beautiful Multicolored Tiger Endlers:
Adrian Hernandez: Adrian Hernandez developed and offered to the hobby the Multicolored Tiger Endlers that these beautiful hybrid Endlers where developed from.
Brooke Hoffman: Brooke used several different male Endlers to help enhance and modify this strain. Brooke is also the individual that supplied us with our original stock.
I would also like to give recognition to Mitchell Weintraub for supplying Brooke with many of the male Endlers used to modify this strain.
Years ago one of our favorite hybrid strains was the Multicolored Tiger Endler. This was a unique strain that we received from Adrian Hernandez. The strain was highly variable and we worked hard with the strain to produce coloration and markings we found most desirable.
Unfortunately we lost our entire colony when a storm suddenly came up during our move causing the temperatures to drop too low for the Endlers to survive during the trip.
Thankfully Brooke Hoffman supplied us with this similar strain based on the Multicolored Tiger Endler produced by Adrian Hernandez.
We actually like this strain better than the original Multicolored Tiger Endlers. These beautiful Endlers are much more stable in colors and patterns and their size is smaller as well, a trait we find desirable in hybrid Endlers.
