Breeder / Keeper Registry

The purpose of our Breeder/Keeper Registry is to provide a complete link back to the original wild Endlers collected in Venezuela thereby giving you a method to easily show the N Class status of those who receive pure N Class Endlers from us.

Without such documentation, Endler’s that appear to be pure strain Endler’s Livebearers but cannot trace their linage back to the original wild caught Endler’s Livebearers should only be classified as P Class.

Our Orchid Endlers are the progeny of the original Pure-Strain stock collected in the Cumana Region of Venezuela by Armando Pou and line bred into a strain in 2006. Our Endlers are registered in the ELAA Pure- Strain Registry under the name Marty Andersen of St. George, Utah (The owner of this website now living in Salina, Utah).

Marty’s Snakeskin Orchid Endler strain was developed from a variation or mutation of a single male N Class Orchid Endler.   Because they are the progeny of the N Class Orchid Endlers we already have documented, this new strain is also documented as N Class Endlers.

Pure Blue Star Endlers Breeders / Keepers Registered with MartysFish.com

Documentation of pure bloodline:  Our stock was purchased from Glen Hawkins of Canada who received his from Kim Kastberg of the Netherlands in 2012. Kim received his Blue Star Endlers directly from Phillip Voisin who collected them originally in 2011 under a bridge in Campoma Village, Venezuela.

We are very excited to be able to acquire these pure Blue Star Endlers from such a reputable source assuring the best possible pure bloodlines.

Note:  We list these Blue Star Endlers as “Pure” rather than “N Class” because they meet the requirements of the ECS, “Any Endler’s Livebearer (and progeny) that can be shown to have originated from their native waters in Venezuela will be considered a ‘Class N’ Endler.”, however Blue Star Endlers are not a recognized strain by the ECS at this time.  Click here for more information.
