Mixing Pure Male Endlers

Mixing Pure Male Endlers can have stunning results!

One of our tanks in our home is simply filled with male Endlers.  There is no issue with having problems with these pure Endlers crossing because there is no females in the tank.

This helps prevent crossing of phenotypes as well as keeping the numbers of Endlers in the tank down to a manageable level.

We love to show off our unique Endler strains to our family and friends and this 29 gallon tank is perfect for it.

One thing we noticed is how beautiful the Lime Green Endlers and the Blue Star Endlers are when they are placed in a tank together.

The lighting we use was actually a $3 thrift store find.  It is a Coralife saltwater fixture which has one Colormax lamp and one Actinic lamp.  This lighting makes the green colors on the Lime Green Endlers really stand out.  The blue coloration on the Blue Star Endlers looks almost purple under this lighting.

If you’ve never tried mixing pure male Endlers in one tank we recommend you try it as the results are stunning under the right lighting conditions and when using lots of live plants.
