The last strain we produced from a natural occurring variation was our Snakeskin Orchid Endler. The Snakeskin Orchid Endler has lots of flashy colors and patterns with elongated fins.
Unlike the Snakeskin Orchid Endler, our latest strain developed from a single male from our N Class Orchid Endler population is quite different. It’s a much more simple strain with only two colors, orange and black.
So far the strain usually produces males that are just a little bit smaller than our regular Orchid Endlers.
Currently about 20% of the males are produced with a “black belt”. This is very similar to the original Orchid Endler strain.
We are working to fine tune the strain so that eventually only the black belt version is produced. Time will tell if our efforts will be rewarded or not.
This strain was produced using a similar method of inbreeding and line breeding that we used to produce our Snakeskin Orchid Endler strain.
Like the Snakeskin Orchid Strain we intend to continue to work on this strain potentially for as long as we have it in an attempt to make the strain as beautiful as we can possibly make it.
We hope you will like this new strain as much as we do!
